Privacy policy

At VIA Pragma we take care of the data you trust us with. This policy explains, in plain language, what data we collect on viapragma.lat, what we use it for, and what you can do about it. We process your data in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

Who we are

VIA Pragma is a consulting practice that operates in Costa Rica. We are responsible for the data we collect on this site. For any privacy matter, email us at hello@viapragma.lat.

What data we collect

We do not collect payment data or intentionally collect sensitive data. Please don’t include sensitive information in your messages or answers.

Contact form: name, email, and message. Optionally: WhatsApp or phone, company, and the service you are interested in.
Free diagnostic: name, company, email, WhatsApp or phone, country, industry, team size, and your answers, including the ones you write in your own words.
Technical data: our hosting provider may temporarily log data such as your IP address and browser type for security and operation.
Site usage data: only if you accept analytics cookies (see the Cookie policy).

Why we use it

We use your data because you give us your consent when you submit a form, to take steps you request before a possible engagement, or for our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure. We don’t sell your data or use it for third-party advertising.

To reply to your messages and set up a call with you.
To calculate your diagnostic, show you the result, and email you the PDF report.
To prepare our first conversation and, if you wish, a proposal.
To keep the site secure and, with your permission, understand how it is used to improve it.

Use of artificial intelligence

Your diagnostic score, radar chart, and findings are calculated with fixed rules, without artificial intelligence.

Only the “short reading of your case” is written by an artificial intelligence model from an external provider, and it is always marked “AI-generated”. We send that provider only your answers and scores, never your name, email, phone, or company. We choose AI providers that, under their terms, do not use this data to train their models.

We may also use AI tools internally to prepare our first conversation with you, with the same care.

Who we share it with

We share your data only with providers that help us run this site and process it on our behalf:

Hosting: the server where the site runs and the domain registration.
Email delivery: the service that delivers the notice of your message and your diagnostic report.
Email: the inbox where we receive and answer your messages.
Contact records: the database where we keep contacts and diagnostics.
Automations: internal tools that connect these steps together.
Artificial intelligence: the provider that writes the AI reading, without data that identifies you.
Web analytics: only if you accept analytics cookies. The tools we use to see how the site appears in search engines only give us aggregated statistics and do not receive your form data.

These providers may change over time; we always choose services that offer appropriate security measures. Some process data outside your country, for example in the United States. If you want to know which providers we use at a given time, email us and we will tell you. We may also share data if required by law by a competent authority.

How long we keep it

When we no longer need your data, we delete or anonymize it.

Contact messages and diagnostic data: up to 24 months from our last contact. If you become a client, for the duration of the relationship and as long as the law requires afterwards.
Diagnostic PDF report on our server: 24 hours, only so you can download it. The copy we email you stays in your inbox.
Technical security data: for a limited time, according to our hosting provider’s settings.
Analytics data: according to the retention setting of our analytics tool, at most 14 months.
Your cookie choice: 6 months. After that we ask again.

Your rights

Depending on the laws that apply to you, you can ask us to access, correct, or delete your data, object to its use, withdraw your consent, or receive a copy. Email hello@viapragma.lat with the subject “Privacy”. We may ask you to confirm your identity before replying. We reply as soon as possible and within 30 days at the latest.

Withdrawing consent doesn’t affect how we used your data before. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can contact the data protection authority in your country.

Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access to our tools, and providers with good security practices. No system is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you of an incident that affects you, where appropriate.

Minors

This site is aimed at business owners and teams. It is not intended for people under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will publish the new version here with its update date. If the change is significant, we will point it out visibly on the site.
